If you’re interested in a compact luxury SUV, then you can’t go wrong with the 2025 Buick Envision, one of the most stylish and beautifully appointed models on the market. This is an SUV for those of us who love to drive and want a vehicle that matches our enthusiasm for the road, ensuring you have a great time whenever you get behind the wheel.

You don’t have too many choices to make when looking for the right Buick Envision for sale, but there are still a few key decisions that will impact your driving experience in the years ahead. Let’s take a look at everything the 2025 Envision has to offer, which options you should consider, and how to get the perfect SUV with everything you’ve been looking for.

Your First Decision: Trim Level

This is not only your first big decision, but it’s also probably the most important one since much of what you’ll get from your vehicle depends on the trim level you choose. Buick offers just three trims for the 2025 Envision, which keeps things pretty simple, and you can easily explore each of them to see what they offer and decide which one is right for you.

We’ll take a look at them now and go over some of the major highlights you should have in mind when considering your options, but remember that nothing beats seeing the Envision in person and taking one for a test drive to feel how well it will work for you.

The Preferred

As the starting point for the Envision, the Preferred trim has all of the standard features that the other two trims build upon. Every Envision is powered by a 2.0L turbocharged engine that delivers 228 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission for a smooth ride, with intelligent all-wheel drive (AWD) and an active twin-clutch for fantastic traction and control when you’re driving, even in bad weather or on rough roads; this means that going with the standard trim still gets you an SUV that’s incredibly fun to drive.

On the outside, the Preferred has 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps and taillamps, and heated power side mirrors with memory settings. This trim has a manual rear liftgate and details like body-color door handles with chrome strips and silver roof rails. Looking inside, the Preferred has an ultrawide 30-inch premium touchscreen across the front dashboard with Google Built-In and support for wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You’ll find a nine-speaker Bose premium sound system in every trim, and the Preferred has perforated leatherette seating, an eight-way power driver’s seat, a head-up display that projects information onto the windshield, and even a wireless charging pad.

One of our favorite things about the 2025 Envision is that Buick has loaded it full of incredible safety tech in every trim. The Preferred comes with a Forward Collision Alert and Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking, plus Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking with Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking. It also has Reverse Automatic Braking, Blind Zone Steering Assist, Lane Keep Assist with a Lane Departure Warning, and even an HD Surround Vision tool to give you enhanced visibility around your vehicle while maneuvering at low speeds.

The Sport Touring

If you’re looking for some enhanced features for your 2025 Envision, then the Sport Touring trim is the way to go. This trim leans into the good looks and sporty performance of the Envision, starting with 20-inch wheels that look stunning and give the Sport Touring a bolder, more powerful stance on the road. The Dark Gloss finish on the lower trimming and wheel arch moldings of the Sport Touring add to this aggressive overall look and feel, with body-color door handles that lack the chrome strip found on the other models.

Inside the Sport Touring trim, you’ll find numerous details designed to elevate your experience and provide a more dramatic cabin. For starters, it has perforated leather-appointed seating for added comfort and style, with a leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel inspired by the kind found in high-performance vehicles and racecars. Alloy sport pedals continue this performance-inspired look and feel: made from brushed metal with raised rubber traction surfaces, these look terrific and provide you with enhanced control while driving.

The Avenir

The Avenir trim takes things to the next level, with a focus on ultimate luxury and comfort to ensure you enjoy every moment you’re behind the wheel. You’ll find 20-inch wheels on the Avenir in a Pearl Nickel finish rather than the darker Carbon Flash Metallic of the Sport Touring. The Avenir rides beautifully thanks to an advanced suspension featuring Continuous Damping Control to provide you with a more comfortable feel on the road. Matching the Preferred, the Avenir has the chrome strip on its door handles, but this trim comes with a hands-free power programmable rear liftgate with LED logo projection for added functionality and style.

Inside, the Avenir makes a gorgeous SUV even more stunning thanks to quilted perforated leather upholstery, eight-way power-adjustable front seats that are heated and ventilated, and heated rear seats. The driver’s seat even has a massage function for added comfort on long drives. You get a heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel in the Avenir, plus ambient interior lighting, a rear camera mirror, and much more to enjoy while driving. This is the ultimate expression of Buick comfort and luxury, designed to make every trip one that you’ll enjoy.

Your Second Decision: Body Color

Once you’ve decided on which trim level has the features you want, then you should consider which exterior color you like. We know this can seem like a simple thing, but you want something you’ll be proud to have in your driveway; this can also make it easier to find your vehicle in crowded parking lots.

The Preferred and Sport Touring are available in several colors, including Moonstone Gray Metallic, Smokey Amethyst Metallic, and Summit White. For something quite distinct, the Avenir is available in an exclusive Calypso Blue Metallic color, which looks gorgeous and provides styling that no other model can match.

Your Third Decision: Optional Extras

With everything else figured out, it’s a good idea to look at any extra options and packages available for the Envision trim you’re interested in. The Preferred and Sport Touring both have a Comfort and Convenience Package available, which adds things like dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, and more features found on the Avenir trim. You can also add a panoramic power moonroof to these trim levels or the hands-free power programmable liftgate, which is standard on the Avenir.

Very few options are available for the Avenir since it’s already so well-equipped, though some extra devices like a dash cam can be added. These kinds of options let you customize your Envision and make it precisely the SUV that you want.

Envision a Better Time on the Road

As you can see, your choice of trim is generally the most important thing to consider when looking for the right Buick Envision. For many people, the Preferred is the perfect trim, which is understandable since it is packed full of amazing features. If you want something that feels sportier and more athletic, then the Sport Touring is a great choice, while the Avenir gives you all of the extra features and upgrades you could want.

These three options make it easy to weigh your choices and get the right SUV with everything you’ve been looking for; then, you can look at some final details like exterior color and extra options. With such great standard features, you can’t go wrong with any configuration of the 2025 Envision. Contact us or swing by the dealership to learn more!
